EdEqChange
The
EdEqChange is a monthly memo prepared by Association to facilitate discussion
and collaboration as well as communicate the specific changes being undertaken.
It is called EdEqChange in reference to the three founding principles
– Lifelong Education, Equity, and Positive Societal Change. It is
designed as an open dialog in which all parties (Board, membership, staff,
and even future members) are welcome. The EdEqChange began in Fall 2004
and offers readers updates on a variety of AAUW activities including Association,
the Educational Foundation, Legal Advocacy Fund, Leadership and Training
Institute, the Strategic Process, and so on. An archive of all previous

FYI Branch President Mailings
All
branch presidents are sent an FYI mailing after each state board meeting
(four times per year). This mailing contains information about recent
issues in AAUW, the Leader on Loan program, upcoming meetings/conventions,
membership campaigns, forms such as Branch Officer forms, Program Grant
Application, Membership Grant Application, Outstanding Woman Nomination,
Emerging Star Nomination, Impact Award Application, Newsletter Editor
Competition Application, and any other type of information deemed important
that the branch be informed about or reminders of their responsibilities
to the state. The information is to be disseminated by the Branch President
to the branch members. This information is posted below for all interested
branch members.

2007 State Leader’s Meeting
This year the Leader’s Meeting was held on Saturday July 14 in Lewisburg. The presentations included 1) President’s update of information from the national convention in Phoenix, the Pennsylvania State Convention in Scranton, national programs/partnerships and upcoming state initiatives in public policy and programming, 2) sessions on Leadership, Program, Membership and Public Policy which included some nuts and bolts information, ideas, resources, and a brainstorming activity.
