FYI Branch President Mailings

The Spring 2008 FYI issue represented the transition from an all USPS-mailed version to a version only posted on the website.  The Summer FYI is the first to be posted only on the website.  Once there, click on the PRESIDENT page. 

You should have received an e-mail notice that the FYI materials have been posted on the state website PRESIDENT page.  You will NOT receive a mailed copy UNLESS you contact the State Administrative Director at admindir@aauwpa.org and inform her of your request for a mailed copy. 

This idea of changing FYI materials from being mailed to being posted on the website was a recommendation of the State Communications Committee.  Branch Presidents were polled during Conversations 2008.  The vast majority were receptive to this idea so we are going to implement it.  Again, if you do not have access to a computer or prefer the traditional mailed version, please contact the State Administrative Director and she will be send it to you.

EdEqChange

The EdEqChange is a monthly memo prepared by Association to facilitate discussion and collaboration as well as communicate the specific changes being undertaken. It is called EdEqChange in reference to the three founding principles – Lifelong Education, Equity, and Positive Societal Change. It is designed as an open dialog in which all parties (Board, membership, staff, and even future members) are welcome. The EdEqChange began in Fall 2004 and offers readers updates on a variety of AAUW activities including Association, the Educational Foundation, Legal Advocacy Fund, Leadership and Training Institute, the Strategic Process, and so on.
