Nominations for 2009-2011 Officers Sought

AAUW-PA is seeking nominations for the following officers to fill 2009-2011 terms on the State Board.

• Membership Vice-President
• Finance Officer
• Secretary

The State Board meets four times annually, in July, October, January,and at the annual state business meeting.

Position descriptions from the Board handbook are attached, along with the Candidate Form. Please encourage anyone in your branch who is interested in serving on the state board in any of these positions to complete the form and return it to me at the address below by October 1, 2008. A print-quality photo (black and white if practical) should be included with the form for reproduction in the Keystoner.

Participation in AAUW at the state level is rewarding and offers tremendous opportunities. Members of the state board gain a great deal from the experience of working with other dedicated, talented women to further the goals and mission of AAUW.

Please note that the following women have been elected as district representatives to the AAUW-PA Nominating Committee for 2008-2009.
